Ma'o Farms-

Hi, My name is Janikkah Akiona & am apart of Ka Makani Kaiaulu O Waianae. Yesterday as a group we had the privilege to visit Ma'o Farms locted in Lualualei Valley right here in Wai'anae. While there, we got a tour of the farm by Kamuela Enos. It was interesting learning of how they started Ma'o Farms and what there mission is. Seeing how big the farm is & how much it has expanded helps set a more visual future of Wai'anae. Being that if Ma'o can become successful then we will be able to create more sustainable places like that. They have strong belief in the youth that they work with, which as a group should push us harder to succeed knowing that there is a lot more people in our community believing that as youth we can make difference(:
