So, today was an interesting day for our group. WE as a group, created a statement which was our testimony to the land commissioners. We explained about how important our Kupunas are (Concerned Elders Of Waianae) and how much experience/knowledge they contain as individuals and also as a group. Our goal was to convince the Land Commissioners to allow our Concerned Elders Of Waianae, to have a say and to also be present at the hearing of the decision of whether the Tropic Land Industrial Park will be made in Lualualei on Agricultural Land. With our determination, and I'm not only talking about the Kamakani group but also the elders and other representatives that was on our side; our results was a "SUCCESS!!"
WE ALL worked together and we won the case! Good job to us all! :)
